“一带一路”智库合作联盟（简称“智库联盟”）成立于2015年4月，是着眼服务中央外交全局，为配合“一带一路”倡议，由中共中央对外联络部联合国务院发展研究中心、中国社会科学院、中国国际经济交流中心、北京大学、复旦大学搭建的国际智库合作平台。智库联盟设有理事会，上述5家单位为共同理事长单位。理事会秘书处设在中联部当代世界研究中心。中联部副部长马辉为理事会理事长，当代世界研究中心主任王立勇为理事会秘书长。智库联盟还设有国际顾问委员会，委员包括斯洛文尼亚前总统达尼洛·图尔克，社会党国际荣誉主席、希腊前总理乔治·帕潘德里欧，埃及前总理伊萨姆·沙拉夫，伊拉克前总理伊亚德·阿拉维，泰国前国会主席颇钦·蓬拉军等14位相关国家前政要。
目前，智库联盟理事单位包括国内研究“一带一路”水平较高的176家研究机构、国际上来自“一带一路”共建国家的约147家主流智库。智库联盟成立以来，以传承丝路精神、服务“一带一路”建设为宗旨，切实发挥搭台、宣介、咨政、服务作用，持续举办“看中国 听世界”论坛、“一带一路”陆海联动发展论坛、“一带一路”与全球治理国际论坛、21世纪海上丝绸之路国际智库论坛等品牌活动，汇聚理事单位力量，深入开展战略研判、政策分析、学术交流，形成高质量调研成果，为推动中国和 “一带一路”共建国家的政策沟通、经贸合作、人文交流、地区繁荣等积极贡献智库力量。
Silk Road Think Tank Association (SRTA)
Silk Road Think Tank Association (SRTA) was established in April 2015 by International Department of CPC Central Committee (IDCPC) jointly with Development Research Center of State Council (DRC), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE), Peking University and Fudan University to serve diplomatic agenda of the CPC central committee and promote the Belt and Road Initiative. Above 5 institutions are co-chairs of SRTA Council. China Center for Contemporary World Studies (CCCWS) serves as SRTA Secretariat. Ma Hui, Vice Minister of IDCPC, serves as Chairman of SRTA Council and CCCWS Director Wang Liyong the Secretary General. The Council has established International Advisory Board engaging 14 former political heavyweights from related countries, part of whom are former President of Slovenia Danilo Turk, former Prime Minister of Greece and Honorary President of Socialist International George Papandreou, former Prime Minister of Egypt Essam Sharaf, former Prime Minister of Iraq Ayad Allawi, and former President of Thailand Parliament Bhokin Bhalakula.
SRTA currently includes 176 Chinese research institutions studying the Belt and Road Initiative and around 147 foreign think tanks from Belt and Road partner countries. Since its inauguration, SRTA carries forward Silk Road Spirit and serves Belt and Road Initiative, plays roles of platform builder, publicity window, policy advisor and service provider. SRTA has held events like China in Sight Global Insight Forum, Belt and Road Forum for Interconnected Land-Sea Development, International Forum on the Belt and Road Initiative and Global Governance, International Think Tank Forum of 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, pooling SRTA members’ wisdom. SRTA focuses on strategic judgment, policy analysis and academic exchanges to make quality research papers, contributing to facilitate policy coordination, economic and trade cooperation, people-to-people bonds and regional prosperity between China and Belt and Road partner countries.
